As we begin the next decade of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, we are grateful for the support of our sponsors, patrons, and supporters who helped make the 90th running a tremendous success. Together, we celebrated nine decades of racing tradition, honored our founding members and key supporters, and introduced the inaugural Stick Pony Race to inspire the next generation of Hunt Cup enthusiasts.
Beyond the racing itself, the PA Hunt Cup continues to make a meaningful impact in our community. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, we were able to donate $75,000 to the Chester County Food Bank, our primary beneficiary.
“Food insecurity is often hidden in a community like Chester County, but the need is very real,” remarks Andrea Youndt, CEO of the Chester County Food Bank. “Through our network of community partners, we distribute more than 8.5 million pounds of food annually, serving nearly 50,000 residents. Support from events like the PA Hunt Cup helps us provide nutritious food to thousands of neighbors and families who might otherwise fall through the cracks.”
In addition to supporting the Chester County Food Bank, we also provided funding to the Coatesville Youth Initiative, Upland Country Day School, the Temple Gwathmey Steeplechase Foundation, River Hills Foxhounds, and Work to Ride, bringing our total charitable giving from the 2025 event to $84,000.
As we prepare for the 91st Pennsylvania Hunt Cup on November 1, 2026, we hope you will continue your partnership as a sponsor and help us preserve a cherished sporting tradition while supporting organizations that improve the lives of our neighbors.
The 2026 event will feature four sanctioned races, the Junior Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, the traditional carriage parade, presentation of Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds, the Stick Pony Races, a vendor village, and a variety of hospitality and tailgating options. Tickets for The Ruins VIP tent, tailgates, and General Admission will go on sale September 1.
