In 2024, we faced the difficult decision to cancel the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup due to unsafe ground conditions caused by a severe drought. But even without a race day, our community rallied. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our sponsors—and nearly half of our ticket holders who chose to donate their purchases—we were still able to contribute $70,000 to the Chester County Food Bank. That kind of steadfast support is what keeps our mission moving forward.
Now, as we prepare for the 90th running of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, we return with renewed purpose, a milestone anniversary, and the same unwavering commitment to “Racing for Food.” Over the decades, this event has raised close to $2 million for local causes, and we remain focused on what we can accomplish together—right here in Chester County. The 50,000 families served by the Chester County Food Bank are facing rising food costs, reduced access to government programs, and the daily struggle to balance housing and nutrition. In the face of these challenges, your support makes a real and immediate difference.
Once again, the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup Committee has selected the Chester County Food Bank as our primary beneficiary. Food insecurity remains a persistent issue in our region, and we are proud to stand alongside a partner making such a vital impact.
